Hukumar Lafiya ta Duniya (WHO) ta sanya kwayar maganin yara na Zinc Sulphate da ake sarrafawa a Najeriya a cikin jerin magungunan da ta aminta da su.
Shugabar Hukumar Ingancin Abinci da Magunguna ta Kasa (NAFDAC), Farfesa Mojisola Adeyeye ta bayyana cewa maganin, wanda kamfanin Swiss Pharma (SWIPHA) yake samarwa shi ne na farko da ya samu wannan nasara a daukacin yankin Saharar Afirka.

Ta bayyana cewa maganin ya samu amincewar wucin-gadi bayan tsallake gwaje-gwaje da cika ka’idodin sarrafa magunguna da WHO ta shimfida.
A cewarta wannan nasara ta samu ne sakamakon hadin gwiwa tsakanin NAFDAC da kamfanin bayan wajen tabbatar da cika sharuddan da suka kamata, bayan gazawa a lokacin da aka kafa yin gwajin a matakin WHO.
Ta ce hakan zai kara launi ga kamfanonin sarrafa magunguna a Najeriya da kuma bunkasa bangaren.
Da yake jawabi a Legas, shugaban kamfanin SWIPHA, Frederic Lieutand, ya jinjina wa NAFDAC bisa gudunmawar da ta bayar, tare da alkawarin samar da magunguna masu inganci a Najeriya.
