Asusun Kula da Kananan Yara na Majalisar Dinkin Duniya, UNICEF, ya bayyana cewa mata 225 ne ke mutuwa a kowace rana a Najeriya, sakamakon matsalolin da suka shafi juna biyu ko kuma yayin haihuwa.
Shugaban Hukumar UNICEF a Najeriya, Dokta Eduardo Celades, ne ya bayyana hakan a karshen wata tattaunawa ta kwana uku da manema labarai suka yi kan COVID-19 da rigakafi na yau da kullun, a Legas wanda ya shirya tare da hadin gwiwar Ma’aikatar Yada Labarai da Al’adu.

Wannan na zuwa ne, yayin da hukumomin lafiya na duniya ke ci gaba da jan hankalin kasashe, musamman masu tasowa muhimmancin inganta shirin kula da lafiyar mata masu juna biyu.
Majalisar Duniya ta ce rayuwar mata masu juna biyu, ko kuma yayin haihuwa na cikin matukar hadarin gaske a nahiyar Afirka, don haka ana bukatar samar da wani shiri na musamman da zai magance wannan matsala.
A cewar UNICEF, mata 82,000 ne ke mutuwa duk shekara a Najeriya, sakamakon mace-macen mata masu juna biyu ko kuma yayin haihuwa, inda suke neman hukumomi su dauki matakin gaggawa don dakile wannan matsala.
Masana kiwon lafiya na danganta mace-macen mata masu juna biyu ko kuma yayin haihuwa na da nasaba ne da sakaci zuwa duba lafiyarsu a lokacin da ya dace, yayin da wasu kuma ke fama da rashin cibiyoyin kula da lafiya a yankunan su.
