Gwamnatin Tarayya na shirin kaddamar da karbar harajin ne a kan kowacce lita guda ta lemon kwalba da dangoginsa masu dauke da sukari daga watan Yuni da muke ciki.

Babban Jami’in Sashen Haraji da Cinikayya Maras Shinge da Karfafa Masana’antu na Hukumar, Dennis Ituma, harajin zai taimaka wajen yaki da cututtuka da dama masu alaka da ta’amali da sukari.
Ituma ya bayyana hakan ne a taron da Kungiyar Dabbaka Rage Amfani da Sukari (NASR) ta shirya, domin lalubo hanyoyin aiwatar da haraji da sauran matakan rage yawan shan abubuwan sha masu dauke da sikari a kasar nan.
Wannan dai na zuwa ne duk da kiraye-kirayen da Kungiyar Masana’antu ta Najeriya (MAN) da sauaran masu ruwa da tsaki ga gwamnati cewa ta dakatar da aiwatar da kudirin da ke karkashin dokar kudin da Shugaba Buhari ya sanya wa hannu a ranar 31 ga watan Disambar 2021.
A wata sanarwa da wakilin gamayyar wasu kungiyoyi 12 na NASR, Omei Bongos Ikwue, ya sanyawa hannu, ya bayyana cewa jami’in fasa kaurin ya bayyana fara dabbaka dokar.
“Dokar biyan harajin Naira 10 ga duk litar Lemo an fara amfani da ita tun a ranar 1 ga watan Yunin 2022, kuma daga 21 ga watan Yuli, dole ne a tattara kudin fito an kuma biya zuwa Asusun Gwamnatin Tarayya.
“Wani abin sha’awa kuma shi ne harajin wadannan abubuwa manufa ce ta Gwamnatin Tarayya tun a 1984, amma aka dakatar a watan Janairu, 2009.
“A baya dai, baya ga abubuwan sha masu sikarin, barasa da sigari ma duk ana biya musu haraji har sai a shekarar 2009, lokacin da aka dauke shi ga abubuwan shan”, in ji shi.
Mambobin Kungiyar NASR din dai sun hada da Kungiyar Masu Dauke da Ciwon Sukari ta Najeriya da Kungiyar Masu Abinci Mai Gina Jiki da Kungiyar Masu Ciwon Sankara da ta Breast Without Spot da Lafiya Wealth Initiative hadi da TalkHealth9ja.
