Shugaban Kasa Muhammadu Buhari, ya gana da Gwamnan Babban Bankin Najeriya (CBN), Godwin Emefiele da Ministan Shari’a, Abubakar Malami, bayan hukuncin da Kotun Koli kan wa’adin daina karbar tsofaffin takardun kudi.
Sun gana ne a Fadar Shugaban Kasa, sa’o’i kadan bayan Kotun Kolin Najeriya ta hana Gwamnatin Tarayyya tilasta daina amfani da tsofaffin takardun kudi daga ranar 10 ga watan Fabrairu.
Tun da fari, CBN ya ware ranar 31 ga watan Janairu, 2023 a matsayin ranar daina amfani da tsofaffin takardun kudin.
Amma matsin lamba da kirayen-kirayen sun sanya Gwamnatin Tarayya da CBN kara wa’adin daina karbar tsofaffin takardun kudin zuwa ranar 10 ga watan Fabrairu da muke ciki.
A makon da ya gabata, Emefiele ya bayyana karara cewa babban bankin ba zai sake kara wani wa’adin daina amfani da kudaden ba a nan gaba.
Sai dai gwamnatocin jihohin Kaduna da Kogi da kuma Zamfara sun garzaya kotu, inda suka kalubalanci wannan martani na Gwamnan babban bankin.
A hukuncin da kotun ta yanke a ranar Laraba, karkashin Alkalai bakwai wanda Mai Shari’a, John Okoro, ya jagoranta, kotun ta hana Gwamnatin Tarayyya daukar kowane mataki na hana amfani da tsofaffin takardun kudin.
Kotun ta kuma umarci bankunan kasuwanci da sauran cibiyoyin hada-hadar kudi da su ci gaba da karbar tsofaffin takardun kudin na wucin gadi har bayan ranar ta 10 ga watan Fabrairu.
