Hukumar Lafiya ta Duniya (WHO) ta ce akwai yiwuwar ’yan Afirka miliyan 800, kusan kaso biyu bisa uku na nahiyar, sun taba kamuwa da COVID-19 ba su ma sani ba.
Binciken, wanda ya mayar da hankali cikin shekara biyu da suka wuce ya ce alkaluman sun haura adadin da aka sanar da sama da kaso 97 cikin 100.

Alkaluma dai sun ce kimanin mutum miliyan 11.5 ne suka kamu da cutar a fadin nahiyar, yayin da mutum 252,000 suka mutu.
Sai dai a cewar rahoton da aka fitar ranar Alhamis, akwai yiwuwar akalla mutum miliyan 800 sun kamu da cutar ya zuwa karshen watan Satumban bara.
Hukumomin WHO a Afirka, sun ce rahoton, wanda har yanzu ake ci gaba da nazarinsa, na nuni da girman cutar a nahiyar.
Shugabar hukumar a Afirka, Matshidiso Moeti, ta ce, “Sabon binciken na nuna hakikanin mutanen da suka kamu da cutar, kusan kaso 97 cikin 100 na mutanen da aka ba da rahoton kamuwarsu da cutar.
“Hakan ma nufin sama da kaso biyu cikin uku na ’yan Afirka watakila sun kamu da cutar,” inji ta.
Rahoton dai ya yi nazarin bincike sama da 150 da aka wallafa tsakanin watan Janairun 2020 da Disambar bara.
“A zahirin gaskiya, hakan na nufin a watan Satumban 2021, a maimakon mutum miliyan 8.2 din da aka sanar, akwai kusan mutum 800 da suka kamu da ita,” inji Matshidiso.
