Jami’ar Abuja ta janye yajin aikin kwanaki 82 da ta ke yi, ƙarƙashin Ƙungiyar Malaman Jami’o’i ta ASUU.
Shugaban ƙungiyar, Dokta Sylvanus Ugoh ne, ya sanar da wannan hukunci a taron manema labarai da suma yi a Abuja.
Sun dakatar da yajin aikin ne bayan tattaunawa da sabon kwamitin gudanarwa na jami’ar, wanda ya yi alƙawarin warware ƙorafe-ƙorafen ƙungiyar.
ASUU ta fara yajin aikin ne a ranar 2 ga watan Mayu.
Batutuwan da suka haddasa yajin aikin sun haɗa da naɗe-naɗe da ƙarin girma da aka yi ba tare da kwamitin gudanarwa ba.
Ƙungiyar ta kuma nuna damuwa kan yadda aka yi tallar neman sabon shugaban jami’ar, da kuma ɗaukar ma’aikata ba tare da bin ƙa’ida ba a ƙarƙashin jagorancin Farfesa Abdulrasheed Na’Alla.
Dokta Ugoh, ya bayyana cewa sabon kwamitin gudanarwa ya yarda ya soke tallar da aka yi na neman shugaban jami’ar, sannan ya sake yin wata sabuwar tallar bisa ƙa’ida.
Sannan sun yarda su sake duba yadda ake ɗaukar ma’aikata da ƙarin girma, musamman waɗanda aka ɗauka a shekarar 2022 zuwa 2023, domin tabbatar da cewa suna kan ƙa’idar jami’ar.
Kwamitin ya ƙara da cewa za a gudanar da zaɓen shugabannin sashen koyarwa da kuma shugaban kwalejin kimiyyar lafiya.
Har ila yau, sun gayyaci ƙungiyar ta shiga lamarin a matsayinta na mamba a kwamitin gudanarwa na bankin hada-hadar kuɗi na jami’ar.
Saboda wannan yarjejeniya da kuma goyon bayan sabon kwamitin da muƙaddashin shugaban jami’ar, ƙungiyar ta yanke shawarar dakatar da yajin aikin domin bai wa shugabancin jami’ar damar magance matsalolin da ke wakana.
