Ƙungiyar agaji da ke bai wa yara kariya ta Save the Children International (SCI) ta ce sama da yara 150,000 ne ambaliyar ruwa ta raba da muhallansu a Jihar Borno, kuma suna matuƙar buƙatar agajin jin ƙai.
Daraktan Ƙungiyar SCI reshen Nijeriya, Duncan Harvey ne ya bayyana hakan a ranar Laraba a Abuja yayin da yake yi wa manema labarai ƙarin haske game da ziyarar da ya kai Maiduguri domin tantance halin da ake ciki da kuma bayar da taimako ga mutanen da abin ya shafa.

Ya ce, sama da mutane 300,000 ne aka yi wa rajista a aƙalla wurare 26 aka tsugunar jama’a a ranar 14 ga watan Satumba, inda ya ce an kafa wurare har 30, yayin da ake ci gaba da yi masu rajistar.
Ya ce, “Don haka za mu iya ƙiyasin cewa kusan mutane 150,000 ne da ke zaune a waɗannan sansanonin yara ne, don haka wannan lamari ne mai matuƙar damuwa.
“Muna buƙatar mu kare waɗannan yaran, da samar musu da kiwon lafiya da abinci mai gina jiki, da tabbatar da samun ruwa mai tsafta da kuma tabbatar da cewa sun samu kulawar da ta dace.”
Ya ce, sama da mutane 400,000 ne ambaliyar ruwa ta shafa a Jihar Borno, inda mutane 37 suka mutu sannan wasu 58 suka jikkata.
Ya bayyana damuwa kan cunkoso da rashin tsafta a sansanonin ‘yan gudun hijira da aka tsugunar da wadanda abin ya shafa.
Mista Harvey ya ce ambaliyar ta faru ne a daidai lokacin da ake fama da matsalar rashin abinci, inda ya koka da cewa “baya ga buƙatar abinci da ruwan sha mai tsafta ga ‘yan gudun hijirar, cututtukan da musamman zazzaɓin cizon sauro babban haɗari ne.
“Hakazalika, yin bayan gida a fili a sansanonin ya zama ruwan dare.”
