Babban jami’in jin ƙai na Majalisar Ɗinkin Duniya (MDD) a Najeriya, Matthias Schmale, ya ce kimanin mutane Miliyan 4.3 ne ke fama da matsananciyar yunwa a jihohin Borno, Adamawa da Yobe.
Mr Schmale ya bayyana haka ne ga manema labarai a birnin Geneva na ƙasar Switzerland.
Ya ce adadin yara ƴan ƙasa da shekaru biyar da ke fama da tsananin rashin abinci mai gina jiki ya ruɓanya a cikin shekara guda zuwa 700,000.

Mr Schmale ya ce: “Na sha zuwa Borno da sauran jihohin biyu.
“Na ga iyaye mata suna gwagwarmaya don rayuwar ƴaƴansu da ke fama da rashin abinci mai gina jiki a cibiyoyin bada agaji.”
A cewarsa, wannan “mummunan bala’i” ya samo asali ne sakamakon rashin tsaro sama da shekaru 10 da ke da nasaba da ƙungiyoyin ta’adda waɗanda ke hana mutane noma da samun kuɗin shiga daga filayen noma da Allah ya azurta su da shi.
Ya ce matsanancin sauyin yanayi kuma ya ta’azzara halin da ake ciki.
A bara ne aka fuskanci ambaliyar ruwa mafi muni cikin shekaru 10 a Najeriya, lamarin da ya shafi mutane sama da miliyan 4.4 a faɗin kasar, ba wai Arewa maso Gabas kawai ba.
Tashin farashin abinci, man fetur da takin zamani sun ƙara ta’azzara rikicin, kuma har yanzu ba a kai ɗaukin gaggawa ba.
Jami’in na Majalisar Ɗinkin Duniya ya ce daga cikin dala biliyan 1.3 na tallafin jin ƙai da ake buƙata a yankin, kashi 25% ne kawai aka samu zuwa yanzu.
