Wata Babbar Kotun Tarayya da ke Abuja ta ki amincewa da bukatar da Jam’iyyar PDP ta a dakatar da ’yan takarar Shugaban Kasa na Jam’iyyar APC, Alhaji Ahmed Bola Tinubu da takwaransa na Jam’iyyar LP, Mista Peter Obi daga shiga zaben Shugaban Kasa na 2023.
Jam’iyyar PDP ta je kotun ne, tana zargin Obi da Tinubu da yin karan-tsaye ga Dokar Zabe ta hanyar kasa tantance wadanda za su yi musu mataimaka a kan lokaci, inda Tinubu ya zabi Kabiru Masari, shi kuma Peter Obi ya dauki Doyin Okupe, amma kuma daga baya suka canja su.
Alkalin Kotun Mai shari’a Donatus Okorowo ta bayyana cewa, karar ba ta da gamsassun hujjoji kuma ba ta cancanta ba, sannan cin zarafi ne ga shari’a saboda kotun ba ta da hurumin sauraren lamarin.
Jam’iyyar PDP ta yi zargin cewa, APC da LP sun saba wa Sashe na 142 na Kundin Tsarin Mulkin Najeriya, wanda ya tanadi cewa, ba za a iya zaben mutum ba a matsayin Shugaban Kasa har sai ya zabi wani dan takara da suke jam’iyya daya a matsayin mataimakinsa.
A cikin watan Yunin bana ne APC ta tsayar da Masari a matsayin dan takarar Mataimakin Shugaban Kasa na wucin-gadi, yayin da Jam’iyyar LP ta tsayar da Okupe, shi ma na wucin-gadi kafin wa’adin da Hukumar Zabe ta Kasa (INEC) ta ware na 17 ga Yuni domin gabatar da jerin sunayen ’yan takarar.
A karshe an maye gurabensu da Sanata Kashim Shettima da Alhaji Ahmed Datti Baba Ahmed, a matsayin wadanda za su yi musu takarar.
