Tun daga kafuwar daular Usmaniyya (1804 – 1808) a karkashin Jagorancin Fulani, harshen Hausa ya zama harshen gwamnati, sabani yadda abin yake idan Turawa suka mulki kasa (Colonialism).
Harshen Hausa ya ci gaba da jan akalar Daular Usmaniyya a hukumance har zuwa shekara ta 1903 a lokacin da Turawan Ingila suka cinye ilahirin kasar Hausa da yaki.

Zuwan Turawa abin bai sauya ba har zuwa lokacin da aka bullo da ‘yan dabara na ‘yan Mulkin Mallaka har aka kai ga dakile haruffan Larabci (Ajami), inda aka maye gurbinsa da na Rumawa (Rubutun Boko), watakila da zummar rage tasirin addini a zukatan masu magana da harshen Hausa ko kuma wani dalili na daban.
A takaice, wannan shi ne salsalar bunkasa da raguwar harshen Hausa a Najeriya ta Arewa.

Shimfidar da aka yi wa wannan makala ta jan hankali ce kawai, amma ko da wasa babu shagube ko yarfe ga kowane mahaluki, domin harshen Hausa kafin Ubangiji ne, wani mahaluki bai isa ya dakile ta ba, dalili ana koyar da harshen a dukkan matakan karatu na gida da waje tun daga firamare zuwa jami’a.
Akalar wannan makala ta karkata ne zuwa kan yadda ake cin zarafin daidaitacciyar (Standard) Hausa a rubuce (Orthographically).
Akwai misalai da dama da za a bayar kan litattafan Hausa da mahukunta ke kallo ana sakin litattafan saki-ba-kaidi!
Da farko, mun yi matukar murna da bullowar jaridu da mujallu cikin harshen Hausa, amma daga bisani sai murna na neman ta komawa ciki, dalili jaridun da mujallun suna fama da karancin ma’aikata, har ta kai babu masu bita da gyara jimloli  ko kuma kalmomin Hausa (Proof.-readers), wadanda su ne tamkar wukar gindi a kowane gidan jarida (ban da Rediyo, Telebijin).
Idan ka dauki jaridu da mujallun da ake wallafa su da Hausa a Najeriya, kusan kowane sakin layi (Paragraph) sai ka samu akalla kura-kurai kamar biyar wadanda suka jibanci hadawa da rabawa tsakanin gabobin magana (Parts of Speech). Misali hada lamiri da suna kamar “shine” maimakon “shi ne” ko hada fi’ili da lamiri kamar “yace” maimakon “ya ce” da kuma kalmar nan da take  yawan fitowa a kanun labaran jarida “in ji”, sai ka ga an hada su kamar “inji” da dai sauransu.
Maganin wannan kwamacala da ko-in-kula da suka samu gindin zama cikin rubutun Hausa, shi ne, shirya wa ma’aikata bitar sanin makamar aiki ta cikin gida (in-house training) kusan sau 4 a shekara da kara yawan ma’aikata masu karatu da gyara ka’idojin rubutu (Proof-readers) bayan sun samu cikakken horo kan daidaitacciyar Hausa (Standard), ta hanyar gayyato Malaman Jami’a da na Kwalejojin Ilimi da ke fadin Tarayyar Nijeriya.
Duk wani tunani da zai bijiro kan harshen Hausa idan ba ci gaba ba ne, tunani ne na rashin kangado da rashin kishin kasa idan ma ba a ce baragada ba.
A nan za mu yi kira ga Gwamnonin Arewa, musamman jihohin nan 12 da suka ayyana amfani da tsarin Shari’ar Musulunci da su kafa dokar-ta-baci kan dawo da martabar harshen Hausa a Najeriya da Nahiyar Afirka ta yamma.
