Cibiyar Daƙile Cututtuka Masu Yaɗuwa (NCDC), ta bayyana cewar zuwa yanzu mutum 39 ne, suka kamu da cutar ƙyandar biri a Najeriya.
Ana ci gaba da samun ƙaruwar masu kamuwa da cutar a faɗin Afirka.

Wannan na zuwa ne kwanaki biyu, bayan Hukumar Lafiya ta Duniya (WHO), ta ayyana ɓarkewar cutar a matsayin annoba a faɗin duniya.
NCDC ta nuna damuwarta kan yadda ake ci gaba da samun masu kamuwa da cutar a faɗin jihohin Najeriya.
Sai dai a gefe guda, ta ce ba a samu rahoton mace-mace ba, amma ɓullar ƙwayar cutar mafi hatsari ne da kuma tayar da hankali.
A halin yanzu jihohin Bayelsa, Kuros Riba, Ogun da Jihar Legas na kan gaba wajen samun masu kamuwa da cutar ƙyandar birin.
Da yake jawabi a wani taron manema labarai, shugaban NCDC, Dokta Olajide Idris, ya ce cibiyar na ɗaukar matakan daƙile cutar.
Ya ce: “Wannan taron manema labarai wani ɓangare ne na ƙoƙarin ƙarfafa haɗin gwiwa da masu ruwa da tsaki don shawo kan yaɗuwar cutar.”
Cutar ta kyandar biri ta yaɗu a ƙasashen Afirka da dama, inda sama da mutum 2,800 a ƙasashe 13 suka kamu da cutar, yayin da mutum sama da 500 suka rasu a sanadin cutar.
Alamomin cutar ƙyandar biri sun haɗa da zazzabi mai tsanani, ciwon jiki, rauni, ciwon kai, da kuraje da sauransu.
