Shugaban Kungiyar Masana da Masu Bincike kan Abinci a Najeriya (ARN-SUNN), Farfesa Kola Matthew Anigo, ya ce akwai ’yan Najeriya kimanin miliyan 25 da yanzu haka suke fama da yunwa.
Ya bayyana hakan ne a Abeokuta, babban birnin jihar Ogun, lokacin da yake jawabi yayin bude taron Kungiyar Masana Harkar Abinci ta Najeriya karo na 52.

Masanin ya ce Najeriya ce ta daya a Afirka, sannan kuma ta biyu a duniya wajen yawan masu fama da rashin isasshen abinci a fadin duniya.
Farfesa Kola ya ce hakan ba karamar barazana ba ce ga burin kasar na yaki da yunwa baki daya nan da shekarar 2025.
Ya alakanta ayyukan ’yan bindiga da ta’addanci da kuma garkuwa da mutane da cewa su ne musabbabin matsalar, inda ya yi gargadin cewa ba lallai ne Najeriya ta cika wancan burin ba matukar matsalar tsaron ta ci gaba.
Ya ce, “Mutum miliyan 25 na fama da yunwa, yayin da wasu miliyan 9.3 kuma ke fama da karancin abinci.
“Akwai bukatar a sauya fasalin aikin gona matukar ana son a samu sauyi a matakin kasa da ma na shiyya sannan a bunkasa tattalin arziki.
Shi kuwa shugaban kungiyar masana harkar abicin ta kasa, Farfesa Wasiu Akinloye Afolabi, kira ya yi ga Gwamnatin Tarayya da ta kara hobbasa a kokarinta na inganta samar da abinci a Najeriya.
