Sojoji da ke rike da madafun iko a Mali sun sanar da dage babban zaben shugaban kasar da aka shirya gudanarwa don mayar da kasar kan mulkin dimokuradiyya a watan Fabrairun 2024.
Mai magana da yawun gwamnatin ƙasar, Abdoulaye Maiga ne ya bayyana wasu gyare-gyare da za a yi wa tsarin mulkin ƙasar da kuma dokokin zaɓe a matsayin dalilan da suka janyo ɗage zaben.

A cikin wata sanarwa da ya fitar, Abdoulaye Maiga ya ce “An ɗage zaɓukan da a baya aka tsara gudanarwa a ranar 4 da kuma 18 ga watan Fabrairun 2024 saboda dalilan yin gyare-gyare.
Ya bayyana cewa sun dauki wannan mataki ne domin magance wasu matsaloli kan shirye shiryen gudanar da babban zaben shugaban kasar ta Mali da ta sha fama da hare-haren ‘yan ta’adda da suka kafa sansani a yankin Sahel.
An dai shirya gudanar da zabukan ne a ranakun hudu da kuma 18 ga watan fabrairun 2024. Sai dai dage zaben ya katse hanzarin ’yan siyasar da ke fatan jan ragamar kasar ta Yammacin Afirka.
Gamayyar ƙungiyoyin fararen hula da jam’iyyun adawa sun bayyana rashin jin daɗinsu a kan wannan sanarwa.
Tun da farko, shugaba Assimi Goita ya nemi a gudanar da zaɓen ne a shekara ta 2026, daga baya kuma ya janyo shi zuwa 2025 bayan fuskantar matsin lamba daga ƙungiyar ECOWAS.
A watan Afrilun 2021 ne dai, gwamnatin mulkin sojan Mali ta ba da tabbacin gudanar da zaɓe cikin watan Fabrairun 2024.
Cibiyar tsara dabarun mulki ta Afrika ta ce yanayin tsaro na ƙara taɓarɓarewa a Mali tun bayan da gwamnatin mulkin sojin ta fara yanke hulɗa da ƙasashen duniya, da kuma dakarun Majalisar Ɗinkin Duniya.
