Akwai mayuka da dama wadanda ake shafawa a gashi domin hana gashin zubewa. Akawai man zaitun da man kasto (castor oil). Za a iya hada man zaiyun da zuma ko ruwan lemun tsami da man kwa-kwa. Wadannan mayukan na gyara gashi  da hana shi zubewa, ya  sanya shi sheki da kuma tsayi.
Man zaitun
Yana da kyau a rika shafa man zaitun a gashi domin kare shi daga bushewa. Za a iya sanya zaitun a wuta ko a rana, idan ya narke (sosai) sai a shafa a fatar kai. Rashin shafa man zaitun a fatar gashi na sanya gashin karyewa.

Za a iya samun wannan man a shagunan da ake sayar da kayan kwalliya a kasuwa. A narkar da man a rana, sannan sai a turara tawul din wanka, bayan an shafa man, sai a daura tawul din a kai har na tsawon mintuna 15 kafin a wanke.
